JOB PURPOSE
Provide oversight and support to the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring all activities comply with company policies and accounting standards. Deliver accurate, timely financial information and collaborate effectively with suppliers, customers, banks, and other stakeholders.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Secondary school certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in roles such as Finance/Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager
- Proficient in SAP Business One, Primavera, OVA, TMS, and MS Dynamics
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
- Maintain and reconcile inter-company, supplier, and client accounts
- Identify, report, and resolve system discrepancies; recommend process improvements
- Compile and analyse financial data for management decision-making
- Negotiate and manage insurance coverage for company assets and activities
- Execute ad hoc finance tasks as assigned
Team Leadership
- Set performance goals and conduct monthly performance reviews
- Develop individual training plans and ensure team participation in professional development
- Monitor staff attendance and manage leave schedules
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes accountability and high performance
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit weekly cash flow forecasts and supplier payment schedules
- Produce monthly reports, including:
o Financial management summaries
o Terminal Profit & Loss statements
o Revenue projections and forecasts
o Supplier reconciliations
o KPI metrics (e.g., cost savings, e-invoicing statistics)
- Assist with annual budget preparation and verification
- Review supervisors’ monthly closing reports for accuracy
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

- Compliance with audit requirements and resolution of audit findings
- Achievement of reporting deadlines and error-free submissions
- Up-to-date system records in SAP Business One, Primavera, OVA, and TMS
